HUZOOR NAND CHOUDHRY

Born and brought up in Bhopal, Huzoor Choudhry has been a creative person since childhood. Awarded the “Artist of the School” throughout his schooling period at All Saints' Bhopal he moved on to do architecture in Pune in 1997. 

He started working with INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage), Bhopal Chapter in 2002. He started work with the heritage listing of Indore, Ujjain, Burhanpur and Chanderi. Thereon, he designed exhibitions for IGNCA (Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts) Delhi, Moti Mahal, Gwalior, Raja and Rani Mahal, Chanderi. A booklet on Sanchi and various other brochures were designed for heritage promotion and conservation. Interior works were a part of his profile too.

An invitation to the British Museum, London in 2006 to attend the International Training Programme for Museum Design, Interpretation, Conservation and Exhibitions was an eye-opening experience for him. He was invited for his work done at the Link Road No. 2, Bhopal wherein he had used heritage motifs from the Sadar Manzil Palace, Bhopal into a modern beautification element and had made heritage a part of everyday living. 

Huzoor Choudhry  is a superior consult in Architectural and Interiors, Urban Design and Development planning, Signage, Exhibition design & Graphics. 

In 2017, Huzoor Choudhry (Huzoor Designs) was empanelled by the CMD, Air India Limited for the designing of the Air India Museum of Arts and Crafts, Nariman Point, Mumbai.

Huzoor Choudhry was invited by The British Museum, London for their conference in Cairo, Egypt in 2010 to make a presentation of his works on Urban Designing. He will be again travelling to Aswan, Egypt in October 2018 for a conference by the British Museum, London and the Ministry of Antiquities, Govt. of Egypt to present his current works.
